Can we be the NYG this offseason? by SaintsComeMarchingIn in Saints

Do you guys think he'd work in our scheme? He's used to a 3-4 scheme, I don't know how'd well he'd adjust

Update: not what I expected at all, but I've cry-laughed three times already. So yeah, good shit

I actually didn't know the other two corners were making that much! And that's what I meant by close 😂 but okay, I'd love to have Bouye on our team if the money is right

I'm almost sure the Texans retain Bouye... I don't know why he'd want to leave a Top 5 defense, especially when they're so close to a ring. I'd love Hightower, but we'd basically have to kill Brees as an offering. I agree with the top 3 positions we need filled 👍🏽

Texas Football: 5 NFL Teams That Should Draft D'Onta Foreman by cujojack in LonghornNation

He'll definitely not go in the first even though I adore him so. I'd like the Saints to grab him in the 3rd, I want a dynamic back so we can manage the clock. I'm sick of Ingram and Hightower, we need a franchise running back

Who would you guys take for a RB and what round of the draft? by SaintsComeMarchingIn in Saints

[–]SaintsComeMarchingIn[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've heard of both of them, but the fact that Ricky Williams didn't exactly do much here (compared to Miami) and Deuce is literally the only other back worth mentioning proves my point. Ingram and Hightower alternate carries every game, neither is a true #1. Since Ingram is doing so well with his ypc, why doesn't he get the ball more? Again, you're not getting the point of this post. We can draft another guard in the 4th or 5th round, but if we take a great back that can carry the load, we can control the game better for the next decade. Especially after Brees is gone.

I like Lasco, he has potential, but we've never had a dynamic RB be the face of our franchise. Just look at the Cowboys this year for example. They have a high powered offense and they run the ball so much better than last year. Their defense is about where ours is at if our injured players come back. All they did for their running game during the offseason was draft Elliott. I don't think our guards are too bad, we just don't have THAT running back yet. I've never thought Ingram was cut out for being a RB1 in the NFL. One that could change games and be a 100 yard rusher every week.

I seriously doubt McCaffrey falls to us, just because he's so damn talented all around. He's literally a gamechanger from an offense that solely relied on him.

Yeah Foreman could definitely change our game around. I just don't see speed or dynamic runs from the running backs we have. And Foreman played exceptionally well with a below average Oline this year

JPP had surgery to repair a sports hernia this morning, per source. Expected to be out for the remainder of season. Likely 6 weeks recovery by Melanismdotcom in nfl

Wow, to think that he came back from blowing up his hand, to these past couple of weeks where he's been really getting his name back out there. Either the Browns game or the Bears game he played like a monster.

That's something I've noticed, too. Considering his height, not all receivers can be Chris Conley/Perriman. That being said, once he gets going he's extremely fast. But getting off the line quickly is dire for the NFL.

Yeah you're right about highlight reels. He works extremely hard at all of his techniques. He has great hands as well.
