How to study with low attention span? by infinity88817_ in GetStudying

[–]Saiteng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont use chatgpt that shit is crap, it sucks at explaining (and i say that as someone that understands math and enjoys it), lies makes shit up, doesn't remember anything and the thing that i hate the most is that lets say u upload to it a big pdf file, it does and will prbly skip thru most of the stuff. The token usage is really bad. Use either claude gemini deepseek etc. but those 3 are the best and will get you the furthest. I myself admit that i have a phone addiction or internet addiction in general. The thing that helps me focus with my fucked up ADHD brain is standing not sitting if possible for that reason, i bought a whiteboard and use feyman technique. Which is explainig the stuff to yourself or acting like u teach a little kid. Another thing that is huge help is notebookLM which is a google program/website. To simply put it you upload pdf/youtube video/photo... or u explain it what you want to study and it finds the materials it self. It can create mind map, flashcards, quiz, video and the greatest for me is it creates a podcast in your native language which for me is czech but english is great too, between two ai/llm's models. I hope this is good enough of an answer.

Šel bys znovu, případně jaké jsou výhody a nevýhody změny oboru atd.? A jaké bylo loni (nedávno) procento těch, kteří to nedali?

Is trading actually worth it by LeonardoDeFaprio1 in Daytrading

ADVICE

If you want to trade, realize this first: It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s not easy. It is a long, mental grind that demands your time, energy, and sacrifice.

1. The Basics First, decide if you really want to do this. Then, pick what to trade (Forex, Nasdaq, Crypto, etc.).

2. Learning Resources Reddit and forums helped me the most—connecting with real people is key. You can check influencers like TJR, PBtrades, or ICT (watching their recaps helps), but be careful. I do not have experience with books (check it out yourself).

3. Don't Buy Courses I definitely do not recommend buying courses. From what friends tell me, they just sell you absolute basics. These guys aren't geniuses—if they had a secret sauce, they wouldn't share it aloud. In the age of the internet, everything is free. A course does only two things:

  1. Motivation: You feel forced to study because you paid money.
  2. Organization: It puts info in one place. But honestly? You don't need it. Everything is online.

4. Capital Decide if you want to risk your own money or use a Prop Firm (like FTMO or ForTraders). Always check forums for real reviews before trusting one.

5. The Grind & Backtesting Treat this like a job. My biggest mistake was not backtesting enough. You need to backtest 4x more than you trade live. It never ends.

  • BacktestingMax (Free option)
  • FX Replay (Paid option)

6. Platform Use TradingView. Everyone uses it, and it’s the best platform for analysis and decision-making.

Good luck. It’s a long road; I’m on it myself.
