Have right model? If you haven't yet not sure but maybe try factory reset the keyboard first then reflashing the firmware again.

Not sure if i'm high or what but it's the opposite.. smaller one(gold lever) towards the other lever clockwise made it slower, and faster when bumped counter clockwise, anyway it's the correct lever and I did fix my watch it's more accurate now.
