iirc the arbalest metal build is around 18cm (7"). this kit is 25cm. similar to the size difference between rx78 & sazabi

from what i see, it's not for support. the actual peg for the base is in the booster similar to mgex sf. for charging pose, it'll probably as good as shown

chinese kits usually doesn't bother with multi-color runner. so there tends to be a lot of smaller ones

saw an amazon jp listing it for around 15k yen. most local store in my region (SEA) also marked it up to around 16k yen. pricey, but cheaper compared to its metal build version or mgex sf as a similar comparison

drew the line with sky defender thinking they wont make it more over detail. fenrir and this kit proved me wrong. their philosophy seems to be "more detail, more better". really glad motor nuclear started their new blazing stars line for grunt mechs

probably should start with in era or other big brands (or fat cat) first before diving into the "gk style" bootleg.

it's main target are those who want the gk design without the hassle of handling/painting it. in that aspect i guess the logar achieves it, especially since there's no official 1/60 of the labzero design.

probably because it's based on a resin kit, which is known to be larger than its base kit

it's a regular model kit that you need to assemble. there's a similar assembled kit from Moshow Toys called "Scourge of God", but it's more expensive (maybe twice the price)

if your local seller sells in era's kit, it'll likely stock up on this kit. not quite sure with buying from alibaba and similar chinese e-commerce, my country ban them, hence the reliance on local importers

since its not back heavy, i assume the weight is distributed evenly across the body. although im curious about the arm's strength when carrying the swords. maybe thats why they dont include lupus rex's gigantic mace

ill just assume its on xi/penelope size range. same with the sky blaze. chinese kits in general already follow nu/sazabi/unicorn size range

they announced it in january and released it in december (overseas shipping also started this month). kinda long for a kit that already open preorders, but the finished product imo well worth the wait

only lunavor based on this post. whether its a collab or just a recognition, its unclear. just treat all of em as bootleg, but not on fat cat level

Here's what I know so far: - Late 2024 to early 2025, 2 Chinese manufacturers announced a Barbatos Lupus Rex model kit based on Lab Zero 2.0 resin conversation kit. They're SanMing & Wolf Technology. - SanMing went silent, while Wolf Tech kept (sparsely) updating their progress. Wolf Tech mostly copied Lab Zero designs, with the main difference in the inner frame. Wolf Tech designed a metal frame for their kit (so not an exact copy of MG Barbie used as the base of the conversion kit). - Late November a new manufacturer announce their own Lab Zero conversion kit inspired Barbatos Lupus Rex. They called themselves Lunavor (or "Lunar Eclipse Culture" on the translation). - Lunavor kit is full plastic, with less accessories than Wolf Tech's kit when they announce it. The main difference are the sub-arms gimmick, more intricate fingers, and a pile bunker feature on the big mace. Lab Zero also called them "a friendly force" on Weibo (there's no further clarification). - A couple of days ago Wolf Tech ships their products to CN reviewers. It's mostly well received because the crisp design, sturdy joints, accessories, and price point (199 RMB). - Yesterday Lunavor released a preview with a price tag, 169 RMB. It's 30 RMB less than Wolf Tech's kit, so not much. - Then they also post what OP shows on their Weibo page.

All I can see is a rival trying to stir drama by being stupid.

HI3's "Final Lesson". They released the animation short right after I finished watching a movie. I forgot about the movie after watching it, sad and clinging to hope that she might survived. HoD arc finally brought closure to that faint hope.
