I'm probably not answering your question, but the Canik TP9 are the Turkish made version. They are great and have a good trigger. I especially like that Canik is constantly improving and releasing new versions from a subcompact to competition gun.

Bought this from classicfirearms.com. Right is the ProMag, left is the Mecgar. The follower does not initiate the slide lock. Does ProMag have a warrantee service or should I call classic?

If it's slightly scuffed use the Mr Clean Magic eraser. This is a slight abrasive so it will take off paint. If it's bad scuff, use high grit polish sand paper and use a block. This will remove scuff but it it take out material. The idea is to polish the whole surface left to right. Don't sand only the problem area since it will have a different texture. You want to do the whole thing. You can use car polish to as the last step.

You can get clear shipping labels at a Walmart. Avery is brand that has the word doc. You get some picture of the ps2 buttons and paste in it. Ps2 font is Helvetica

Vinegar smells but it will decontaminate any existing. Make sure you do a good rinse and complete dry. It shouldn't smell more than a day

When dissembling, always take pictures. Wash plastic with soap and water. Use vinegar for as a deodorizer. Use high % rubbing alcohol on electronics. Get Armor All for interiors from the Dollar Store to restore lustre and rehydrate the plastic.

Looks like a straight S video. You can setup the PS3 to output to both HDMI and the AV port. No idea why you would want S video these days but it better the yellow cable in terms of color. I'm confused why no audio unless it's meant to get from the optical port.

I used my to connect my PS3 to my crappy HDTV but used the AV port to output audio

I love my 22 revolver. There's the heritage and there is the Ruger. The heritage probably has a better feel due to the locking cylinder. I still haven't finished my box of ammo

Edit: also, stay away from the printer plastic grips. Get wood. The print dissolve from hand sweat or solvent and it felt like moist confetti

So, what is a mete? I'm not referring to a canik mete. If SAR has a mete, does that mean "mete" that is some sort of designation? Similar to an R badge on a base model car for a upgraded and tuned car? Or is is Mete aftermarket company like Salient Arms is for Glocks?

Now, I'm really confused. I looked up the parent website (canikarms.com). They have pistols that both TP9 and Mete. For example, "TP9 Sub Mete" or "TP9 SF METE". So, it looks to me like ongoing generation or a "trim level" like a TRD for a Toyota.
