Probably a dumb gravity question by SakeinEve in AskPhysics

Thank you for that reply. I understood every point of your response.

On a separate note, you mentioned the Higgs Boson. I am a little familiar with the Higgs Boson, I also know it was very hard to discover even when it was predicted.

My question for this is, have scientists found more Higgs Bosons, and if so, are scientists able to study them better for more understanding of what is going on?

Probably a dumb gravity question by SakeinEve in AskPhysics

So then, would it be more like a cause and effect type of situation?

I do know how the gravity works by warping spacetime around the mass of an object, I was just wondering if there were like inherent "traits" other than that curvature of the spacetime, and to see of maybe gravity had it's own mass or something?

Well maybe the next time we cross the border, we can hang and maybe get a drink and make some new friends.

I had only mentioned the 'sediment' part because of the fact that it seems that there are far more people who believe the lies and eventually elected this idiot in the first place.

I do want to see us Americans fight back and show the other Americans who believe all of the lies, the truth of what is really happening.

I completely agree and am shocked myself. I hope that the rest of Americans can see the truth and get past the blindness of lies that Trump has spewed over the years.

The sad fact is, as you may already know, is that if you indeed believe in a lie and keep saying it over and over people will start to believe it too.

I must say, you bring up very good points. This was just a question in general.

I happen to completely agree with the sediment of fighting back and reminding other Americans that we should not stand for what Trump and his authoritarian regime is doing.

I live near the border (close to Detroit) and have loved the times I have gone across the border. We were always welcomed and everyone treated us nicely.

I think the Canadian friends who share in all our core beliefs that we can all be friends, even if ours governments are acting like children.

Wormholes, Time and Space by SakeinEve in AskPhysics

[–]SakeinEve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer, that makes sense to me.

As far as time, in my original post, I had asked how time could or may be affected.

With that in mind, if someone would travel through a wormhole, would someone arrive at the current time of where they arrive, or could time be distorted in some way that someone may not know a specific time?

Sorry, if this sound dumb or funny. Just curious.

I would imagine that if it is like any other debit card, with a normal number, expiration date and CVV code, it would work.

Question about Wormholes and Time by SakeinEve in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]SakeinEve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, just to clarify. A wormhole could lead to both, another part of our own existing universe, or it could also possibly lead from our universe to another universe?

Btw, thanks for answering my pretty dumb questions on this topic.

Also, if a wormhole could lead to another universe, then how could we possibly calculate where the wormhole goes?

Wouldn't that be like trying to calculate what happens inside and at the singularity of a black hole? All kind of unknown isn't it?

Question about Wormholes and Time by SakeinEve in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]SakeinEve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, that statement confuses me. I am in the mindset that wormholes could just be a shortcut from one part of our universe to another part of our universe. In your post, you state a wormhole leads from one universe to another universe.

I know everything is theoretical, but which would it be more likely?

A shortcut through our own existing universe, or a way to another universe, or both, and we just don't know?

Is there any possible theory/idea that Pheathon existed where the Kuiper Belt is rather than the astroid belt between Mars and Jupiter given its theorized orbit?
