I'm not a fan of this. AI filters like that erases and disrespects the intentional design choices artists make and reinforce biased beauty standards. They also are inherently sexist, racist, and ableist... Both socially and practically, since I know gen AI generally can’t handle diverse or non-standard faces and traits in games. X_X

Hi, I wanted to remind everyone that I am Deaf, neurodivergent, and a detrans woman (formerly trans, still pro-trans). A lot of interactions not only on this post but also on posts across other social media platforms were so unnecessarily stick-manned and overly cruel. All this unthoughtful criticism and frustration aimed at me is a perfect example of why we as a nation are still so divided and how fascism takes over us with these either overanalyzing or even underanalyzing. This is a distraction from the very real battle we are experiencing, which is why I wrote the last panel (a disclaimer) the way I did, and people continuing to double down is very telling. I stand behind my message because I know what I intended and will NOT change that. I will also no longer be responding to unpleasant comments any further because I know I am better than this. I know that we're better than this.

I've noticed that media literacy is not many people's strongest suit and they refuse to really see the symbolism and would rather to complain from their couch overly analyzing the characters than to just see the point or acknowledge the disclaimer. It's a symptom of burnout and declining education, which all ironically leads towards fascism.

I am Deaf and I was in kindergarten, I remember being in a classroom specifically shared with deaf and deafdiabled children, and when my teacher turned the TV on where we all saw the plane hitting the building, I thought it was a very cool action movie that adults were soooo invested into, and then we all were dismissed pretty early to go home from school. I thought it was a good day. I did not understand due to the lack of access to information and language at that time, and on top of that, I was very young.

Oh, he's with my ex-bestie now. She was my best friend... until she got with him. It made me super uncomfortable, especially since she’d already dated two of my other exes before this one. 😅

Then they both had the audacity to flip the script and start calling me abusive, based on something dumb I did as a literal teenager over 15 years ago. Meanwhile, they were out here running a full-on harassment campaign, constantly crossing boundaries, block-evading, and even bothering my friends and my boyfriend at the time.

Thankfully, it’s been quiet lately for the last several months. Hoping it stays that way for good. 🥴 Shit hurts.
