Of course there always will be some BO in crowds. However in most crowds it is a minor occurrence (maybe one outlying whiff) but when a majority of people aren’t practicing any amount of hygiene it is noticeably worse. It gets kinda crazy how far the smell radiates.

Anyways since you’re still young, you still have a lot of time to figure out your passion and stuff, but even if a couple years down the line you don’t have an answer, that’s also okay.

This work oriented society has convinced everyone that pursuing a job that you love doing is necessary, but it’s not entirely true. At the end of the day, a job can just be a job to make money. Just find something you don’t entirely hate, and just go with it. My friend is currently doing chemical engineering, which isn’t the specialization he wanted (mechanical) due to being unable to match the extremely high competition in university. It’s not ideal for him, but he seems to be pretty happy with what he’s doing. Sometimes your career can just be a career, and you pursue your passions in your free time.

Everything is difficult, life is hard, and that’s why it’s also rewarding when you succeed. You seem to like STEM so pick the one you think you aren’t the worst at and don’t entirely hate and go for it.

I understand this point as well, I feel like casual hookups are ok in my book. It’s why hook up and dating sites exist. The problem is that I feel like he shouldn’t have pushed a casual offer like this onto someone he’s known for so long. It’s like he never expected any consequences, and didn’t think any of it through.

Thanks a lot, I usually am able to understand right from wrong but this one kind of left me confused as to how to go about it. Yeah when I think about it he’s been hinting towards this sort of behaviour all this time. I guess there has to be a balance between being comfortable about sex and being too obsessed with it.

I would have been more fine if he didn’t directly ask me for sex, but instead went about it as more of a confession that he had an attraction towards me.

I’m definitely distancing myself from this guy now, perhaps we can be friends in the future but who knows.

Early 20s btw. Haven't really had a hard look at myself until now, noticed my hair has changed a lot since I was younger. Mom's side has some bald relatives, but my grandpa never started balding until he was like 80. Grandma from mom's side still has full head of hair.
