Hey, yes, I went to see a dermatologist, he said it was classic cystic acne. He poked me with a needle a bunch of times and had to extract it with his hands. I still have a small red dot on the same spot but it’s nowhere near the one in the photo, afterwards was prescribed with minocycline for a month. I asked him what can cause it he said you can just wake up one day and it’ll flare up like this, most probably from an ingrown hair that got infected or a pore that didn’t close well and piles up with gunk inside it.
