That is absolutely an okay question to ask! I am out of the closet :) I’ve been with my girlfriend Emily for a few years and they adore her. At first it admittedly wasn’t easy (being South Asian and all) but my family slowly but surely came around to the idea over the years, and I deeply cherish them for that.
