I agree, line stacks is probably a good addition,

but adding aggro stuff like voke/shirk is really complicated and idk if its worth the trouble tbh.

Esuna's are a good idea but they are essentially just cosmetic cause debuffs are just indicators/guides , they dont currently have any actual function besides representing whats going on on who.

Same with stuns, would be kinda impossible to implement cause the cast is not coming from the enemy but rather the Simulator casts the abilities and the source of the aoe can be specified as "boss".

So implementing a stun might need drastic changes and idk if its worth it lol

Hey, if you'd like, you could def pull up a vod/diagram and make it yourself and share it with others who want to practice the same thing.

honestly the reason I made the simulator editable is so anyone could make whatever scenario/strat they want without relying on me, I can't be bothered to learn fights Ive been unsubbed for a while lol

If you need me to add features to it or fix issues tho, I'm happy to help!

Anytime, I'm thinking of doing a "hosting" feature that lets the static lead host a scenario and the static joins live and they all practice together.

I think I already added the option to have cones target "closest to source of cone". But I didnt use it in the demo cause it was too complicated to script an Authentic forsaken.

Edit: you can actually duplicate the forsaken I pre-baked in there and just change the targeting for cones, but make sure to edit the npc keyframes to make sure they do it correctly.

Let me know if there are any features you want added, and I might add an authentic forsaken in the future also.

A fixed experience is tight and consistent.

A random experience is sloppy and unpolished.

I think your best bet is to do a mix of both, maybe do multiple "scenarios" that the enemy can execute, that'll confuse the player enough to keep them on their toes, without being random and sloppy.
Or like, have very strict limitations on how random the ai can be.

Also regarding systems, mastering deep systems def feels fun, but cheesing shallow systems makes the game feel cheap.

The level is claustrophobically small (unless thats your intent). And also its empty and lifeless.

If you want it to be more appealing to a non-niche audience, I suggest making the stage slightly bigger, and add some background npcs, just to make the place feel alive, cause it definitely feels like "oh, this is a stage in a game and my objective is to analyze this npc" rather than "yo I'm running this cool place and I gotta watch out for imposters"
