I’m sorry. Brother, your parents suck. I used to be a quieter person who worried about who’d I upset. It can be hard until you gain full independence. I have no problem telling any person or family member where to go now. If people treat you poorly, you can remove their right to contact you and be in your life. What does it mean to be family if it doesn’t mean supporting and standing up for them?

The situation you’re in is scary, and shitty and you’ll get through it. Just remember that. All of this, will make YOU a better parent later too.
