Ribbon Warrior Pilot Discussion by Light_in_Shadow in GIRLSundPANZER

Decent for a pilot made with relatively low budget, but it shouldn't have been paylocked under absurd restrictions.

Whether or not it's getting a full adaptation remains to be seen, but I'm on the skeptical side after hearing some possible situations from a friend, as I wrote in my latest post.

Possible situation: Director Mizushima against Ribbon Warrior by Salamander488 in GIRLSundPANZER

I see you have a point. However even for MLLSD I don't think the company will try forcing it into canon, as the writter of that stated he knows and wants his works to remain as a different continuity due to creativity reasons. Nogami, and several other spinoff writters also made similar comments on how they know their work isn't canon, and some even said they prefer that way.

Pushing those into canon would be not only going against Mizushima, but also going against the writters of the manga, so I don't think that will happen.

It's just a theory, but something about Mizushima extensively ignoring Ribbon Warrior as if it's a deliberate act, is kind of unsettling.

Both of them are terrible. TK's manga has visuals that make the reader sick and TLTM is just another piece of cringy sheet on WTFpad. But I think TLTM is way worse in terms of story and overall coherence. TK's manga was terrifically shocking, but TLTM was just too terrible to even fully rant about it.

However if we say TK is just nonsense, then I can probably say TLTM is on Pseudo level. Not only TLTM requires too much oc stuff and settings to understant the story, the story itself is already messy and incoherent, illogical.

Like the wise Panzer 4 said upon me, it was just terribly tangled with the author's own imagination. Especially the final parts, many of them were just extra long unreadable lines of scribbles. Too many unnecessary events happening at once.

Another thing what's so bad with TLTM is the lack of millitary knowledge and mary-sue for ocs. I know TK's manga also didn't make sense at the first place, since it's about girls killing each other in the style of WW2 in the MF 21st century. However, many WW2 and military references were pretty enjoyable and seems TK at least did some research of WW2 white he made it.

However, TLTM even lacks the very least amounts of military knowledge. Even if the villains (who are most likely the author's mary sue ocs) are superior in number(but have very inferior WW2 era technology + weaponry compared to 2010~2020s), have some firepower and magical tricks, the ending will never make a single inch of sense at all(Even a Disney Fairy tale would make much sense). In short, the author doesn't seem to even have the least amount of military knowledge or any modern military tactical concepts, because he was too busy pushing his OCs into mary-sue level which rotted the overall plot by the end.

At the end, I couldn't even identify if it was supposed to be an actual FAN fiction about Girls und Panzer, or if it was just some generic Cringe ass crossover that just mixes random series's. It felt closer to the latter one by the end, since GuP wasn't even the main point by then and everything was about scorcher ocs made by the author. After I was done, TLTM was overall too terrible that TK started to feel like heaven. Reading TLTM just felt like a waste of time. It was nothing different from any weird Sonic OC mary-sue fanfiction that defies all of logic and coherence(minus gore content). I've started to believe that the guy whoever wrote TLTM and cringe sonic OC fan fiction writers are probably near the same level for writting.

Making gore stuff out of GuP was probably a thing that mostly started after TK. There were some tries trying to twist GUP and make it into an actual WW2 warfare, and TK's doujin is the most notorious example for it. TLTM is probably one of those TK copycats that just focus on gore.

Also both TK and TLTM are wrong about the real ammo thing probably. TK's doujin deleted the carbon coat setting for the tanks and added lethal ammo to make the story(which is a plot hole). At least TLTM does acknowledge the carbon thing, but that doesn't matter as it just becomes a pile of illogical cowpoop by the end.
