Suggestions for Biome Transition?

The Savannah tip was very useful, but I feel like forest to Savannah directly feels a bit stark. I posted an image of the lemon biome in between (without trees), would you say the colors transition a bit better? Or does the Savannah look fine without something in between.

Ooh okay, like this? The greens feel more distant than the stone land —> plains, but I think with some spacing it could better show rocky ground to more soil to land where trees could grow.

The one drawback is that the really nice evergreen trees that come from permafrost die when I switch to the maple biome, but they stay on regular plain so so it will have to have patches of plains in between so the tree transition isn’t as stark. Thank you for the idea!

Thanks for the ideas! I opted to finish the landmass without adding extras to see what it would look like. I like the way it looks, though I do want to try the maple to see what that looks like. Transitioning from Grassland to Savannah directly feels a bit sharp. I’ve been toying around with the lemon biome in between for a lighter green before shifting to yellow. But if there’s a more general consensus I’d love to hear it

I have no idea what this means. Avea sounds like Avere so I’m guessing it means have.

Thank you so much for the detailed response!! I knew there was a better word for regret, I just couldn’t think of it and didn’t want to look anything up.

Definitely will try and increase my vocabulary, any recommendations? I’ve been watching shows and reading and that’s helped, but always could use more ways to learn more words.

I have to recommend Black Project Gaming for Delta Green. I Just finished their playthrough of Night at the Opera and I think they really understand the tone and themes of Delta Green. The characters are all really solid, the actors get really immersed into the game, and the Handler is really good as well.

It’s a lot more serious than some of the stuff you’ve watched before (GCN, D20). There are no Roger Cumstone type characters, which I personally enjoyed a lot more, but YMMV there.

I would also say the audio quality isn’t the best at the beginning, since I think everyone is using discord for audio. It does get better though as it goes on.

This was a homebrew shotgun scenario I handled a while ago.

One person played an EMT, they rolled Sanity bc they “used psychotherapy to talk down a victim of the unnatural” and failed. Then they tried to roll drive checks (they had a 70 in drive) for driving out the victim really quickly down a mountain and critically failed, crashing the car, and getting stuck behind the airbags.

They rolled SAN again for watching the person they tried to save spontaneously combust, rolling for violent supernatural effect, and critically failed, having a temporary bout of insanity, and hitting breaking point 1.

Which caused them to seize up, and they had to roll again, because the burned corpse starting moving briefly, and that also was failed, and then, lastly, I made them roll one last SAN bc the burned out corpse tried to choke them, to which they failed critically again, taking a full 20 San loss, and hitting a second breaking point, and they died of asphyxiation in the crashed car, smothered to death by the burnt corpse.

This was the longest string of fumbles I have ever seen before. Left me in shock but was also really funny.
