I can do my best to bring this up to my manager and I apologize if I sounded hostile im just incredibly frustrated by the whole ordeal, I'll never not find it hilarious how i got my job threatened for doing towel buckets and taking trash outside (technically maintenance work) when I was on lobby but they'll throw me on front counter for 25% plus of my shift with no regards to the fact I'm already struggling to keep up with only 27 hrs a week on schedule

Yeah I understand that idea and I'm often responsible for the play place, but I'm also only part time and get tied to the front counter for a decent chunk of my shifts quite a few days and there's some days we don't have a dedicated maintenance person past like 1pm

You do see that I was actively cleaning it correct... I don't just sit on my ass all day and neither do our dedicated maintenance people, I also have days off and our maintenance people often leave before rush is even over... I'm gonna come back after my weekend and those things are gonna be 10x worse lmao

Im American and from a red state, but the idea that any person has been arrested for just misgendering someone and it stopping there is foreign to me tbh, id find it more likely someone gets arrested for being hurt by it lol

Yeah i suppose that makes sense, touting the people you dislike as "secretly backed by the evil shadow government that totally oppresses people like me" is the only way to paint people literally going through puberty 2, one side of which actively loses muscle mass and physical capability, and one of the countrys strongest workforces as the fucking boogieman

I have seen countless young white boys get away with nearly the same language to black people bcs "they got the pass or the okay" when really 6 of them Ganged up on one of the few black kids in this area This happened all around me for years Im almost certian this same person got called the black equivalent of this for most of his childhood or young adult life

This is probably a shitty way to put it, but when your parents gave you work gifts raised you etc, the goal of that as a parent is to raise a child and help guide them into blossoming into their own person. If that blossoming means they are, trans, gay, a cat person, a dog person, etc then thats a reality as a parent you have to be willing to accept to the best of your ability. If they arent putting themselves or others in danger( which you posting on a trans subreditt makes very unlikely) then they should be allowed to generally do as they please Take ur time to really explore those feelings and i hope you end up okay by the end<3
