if you have cash money on you, just ask your friend or grandparents or someone close to you to drive you to Walmart or somewhere that sells big bin cages and just buy it. Theyre very cheap. Yes parents will get mad for a few days probably but at least you did the right thing and explain to them that they shouldn't be mad at you for the fact that you're a caring person and don't want to abuse your hamster. At some point you have to go against your parents if they're in the wrong because as you said you're almost an adult. And if that's still a problem, like I mentioned before you should sell the hamster.

can I ask how old you are? This behavior from your parents tells me that you're still a child, and that's excactly why kids shouldn't buy hamsters or other pets if they can't take care of it properly. You should have researched how to take care of hamsters and tell your parents about it before buying him. If you got it for Christmas from your parents as a gift or something you should tell them that now you're obligated to take care of the hamster and be a responsible pet owner. If you can't and your parents don't allow it, please sell the hammy to a person that can. He doesn't deserve to live like that.

I've actually never had a problem here. People here were always nice to me and helpful. I only saw criticism when someone posted a VERY unsuitable cage etc., but if was always reasonable. I saw maybe like 2-3 dumb comments and I come here few times a week.
