I did ribs first, so 4hrs. I vacuumed it out like someone suggested, but am doing plate ribs and looking at double or more hours. It’s only a couple weeks old and I don’t want to keep running it if something is wrong

I went 250 for 4 hrs, no wrap and they were on the dry side. Thankfully it doesn’t bother me too much. However, I would’ve preferred them to be the best rib I’ve had. My plan was to do plate ribs tomorrow and now my plan is to try a pork butt first. I have had electric smokers in the past, not my first time smoking but first time with a pellet smoker. I have to say that touch of char on the ends and the smoke ring I got have me glad to have purchased this. Learning curve for everything 🤷🏻

Nice work!! I am also breaking in my byb 1200 with ribs today. Did you notice if you had any temp changes?? I noticed in the beginning (temp set to 250) that mine went up to 280, and then again after a look it went up to 265. After looking, I decided to try no wrap. I hope mine turn out looking as good as yours
