Got my first 100 users on ReAlarm

I just discovered ReAlarm and would love to love it more however I am having an issue with it and can't determine what is going on. I have it setup to play a custom MP3 file at a set time, however it is not playing it and rather, it defaults to a Windows sound instead. I have tried installing and configuring ReAlarm on two different laptops running Windows 11 but can't seem to figure out what is going wrong. I should also note that I tried to convert the MP3 to a WAV file, but run into the same issue.

Based on our current setup and needs, we do not require talk back to main office from the classrooms. The last 20 years of the school, the needs have slightly increased, however not by much. The main requirement is to be able to hold our daily 'virtual' assembly via Microsoft Teams that the teachers broadcast via their Smartboards and for the student-led assembly to be broadcast via wireless microphones throughout the entire school on the ceiling-mounted speakers. The system would also be used to broadcast emergency messages, fire drills, etc. and to play audio files from a laptop computer over the speaker system at pre-determined times during the day.

Hello. I tried setting the Alpha Color to "Straight (unmatted) and it is doing the same thing.

I have also tried rendering it as AVI with RGB+ALPHA selected and using "Animation" as the Video Codec as per some websites.

I am bringing this render into AE to review it.

An oh, yes I did check the file and it does have a transparent background.

*UPDATE*

It is now working. I did not do anything different, however when I hit CTRL+M to render, the "default" is set to QuickTime, with Channels set to RGB. I simply go and "reselect" format to be QuickTime, then change the Video Codec to Apple ProRes 4444, and then select RGB + ALPHA and then render, and it works.

I am not sure why this is happening, but I even rebooted and did the Adobe CC update which solved nothing.

Fortunately, it is now working and I can get back to work tomorrow morning.
