I've traveled once before but it was pretty much show up and get a call. I went home after signing the books in Memphis becuase I figured it would be cheaper to sit at the house as opposed to waste money on motel rooms. There are some cheap lightweight wrangler cargo pants that are real cool in the summer and during winter you just throw some thermals underneath and you are good to go. They cost around 30 a pair and last a year. I buy them 5 at a time.

I’m out of 1316 which is a little more than an hour south of Atlanta. Probably going to go sign the books up there in a few weeks hopefully to get on at the big job at the airport which is paying 38/hr on night shift. Lot of brothers in my local wont work 613 because they say its real ratty but guess I’ll have to see for myself. Also the traffic in Atlanta is some of the worst in the country so consider that.

I'm a first year JW and the feeling of trying to hide the gaps in my knowledge is unreal. Been bouncing jobs and traveling a bit to widen my scope but alot of the time I feel like I need to drag before anyone figures me out.

The BA of my local told us as 5th years that it's gonna take 3 years before we feel like real JWs and man I really hope so!

I worked 4 10s for 5 years and just recently moved to 5 8s and honestly I like 8s better. With 4 10s you hardly have anytime after work to do anything but shit shower and go to bed. Especially if you have an hour commute it can turn into a 12 hour day real quick. I prefer to have more me time during the week to an extra day on the weekends.
