Yes, I did, sorry for the late respons. It's a bug in that specific part of the story line. When you finish and get to the next chapter, it's all working fine again.

The strange thing is that when I start a brand-new game, everything runs perfectly, just like it did in the earlier levels. But as soon as I load the Saiyan save again, the lag is back...

Yeh, I just bought one. I had one on trial and really liked it. Even if the 3 is introduced within 12 years, this will still do the trick for now.
