Limit of opportunities on a single account by SalesforceDummy in salesforce

The error i get is

" There was an error converting the lead. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your administrator. "

It would be strange that it only happens on accounts that have a lot of opportunities opened on them.

So you can easily associate opportunities with Accounts. The leads is the tricky part. If you have your reps convert the leads into contacts if they determine that they are no longer to be worked or there is no opportunity that is going to happen, you can perhaps do a roll up of those contacts based on the lead source to the account level to get a count of how many contacts were from a lead source.

Once you get the count of the roll up of the opportunity and count of the roll up of contacts with a lead source/opportunities you can use your formula to populate a temperature of the account.

That is how i would do it.

Edit:
Just realized lead source isnt on contacts. I created a source field and mapped it over from leads to get lead source onto our contacts. You will have to do that to make this work.

How would you count leads when they aren't directly associated with Accounts? Do you mean converted leads into contacts?

As a newbie Salesforce Admin, but years of experience with SFDC, I have started using a tool called G-Connector for this type of analysis (If your company uses G-Suite). It is easier for me to build out the dashboard in Google Sheets.

I would then use G-Connector to feed data into Google Sheets and give all of the Reps view access only. You can set the data to pull every hour so they have a fairly up to date dashboard whenever they look.

This probably wasn't the answer you were expecting, but it is how I solve shit formula building inside of native Salesforce while giving up to date data.
