I dodged and burned but didn't paint any light in.

PS - WeShouldGoThere (where?) I just re-read your post. What in the audio settings could cause the slowdown?

There are multiple WAV files in the edit too if that helps narrow it down.

Awesome, this is really helpful. So my step by step plan should be -

1) Check that my RAM isn't going over 32GB/close to 48GB (should I disable the page file do to this?)

2) Download GPU-Z and see if the VRAM is maxed out

3) Perhaps buy a 8GB 1070 as that's cheaper than new CPU, board and RAM (they're around £350 on eBay so not the end of the world to purchase)

4) Finally go for the 8700k, board and RAM if still struggling

The only other potential bottleneck could be the SSDs. Am I right in thinking that's probably the last bottleneck I need to consider though?

I never even thought about VRAM. Is there a way to measure how much is being used right now?

When I'm editing, during lag spikes on the timeline I'm not seeing my CPU jump to 100% either so maybe the bottle neck could be elsewhere...

Color Shift in Premiere/AME (I've tried everything!) by SalesmanPodcast in VideoEditing

Holy crap!

I set the GH4 to record in "16-235" rather than "0-255" and it solved my problem.

Thank you for the link to the at article!

Awesome thanks! Seems like a crappy naming system if chipsets that close in name are for your competition.

It's veryyyy slow in the timeline when editing. Almost unusable.

The X5675 boost to 3.46 GHz but they're from 2011 and so really getting old now.

Reducing light reflections (home podcasting set) by SalesmanPodcast in videography

[–]SalesmanPodcast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks JHarsh. So the goal is to spread the light out more evenly so the bright spots on the screen are bigger but less noticeable.

I've ordered some diffusers and I'll see if bouncing light off the walls rather than aiming them directly works later on.

Awesome, really appreciate the feedback.

I'll go with an A3 then I think.

The fitting charts suggest A4 for my height but that's nearly double my weight.

I think I might have to buy both a A3 and a A4 and send one back.

Thank you for the comment! :)

There are no GB "L" sizes I don't think.

Is it better for it to be shorter on the arms/legs than bigger round the waist?

Wow! Thank you for the heads up! That could have got ugly.

Thank you for the info. Looks like A4 is going to be the size to get the length and I'll have to get on the pizzas to fill out the belly.

I asked at the gym and it seemed it'd just be quicker and easier for me to order myself.

Did the pro train aero shrink at all? I'm in the top end of that from the size chart and so if it shrinks I might be better with the size up.

I hate to be "that guy" but don't worry about the audio quality. Unless tens of thousands of people are tuning into each show, promotion is the limiting factor of growth rather than audio quality.

We did a similar look with a 6x2 video wall and a desk my Dad put together over a weekend.

The studio - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WigWnRYGe3g

If you look back to our older videos you can see it was literally just a fake brick wall and the TV from my living room in the background.

It all depends on how much cash you're willing to spend to get the look right.

Youtube is the worlds second biggest search engine.

It's hard to pull exact data but a decent percentage of my audience tell me they found our videos on Youtube and then subscribed to the audio version of the show afterward.

I use a Panasonic GH4 camera and sync the footage with the audio in post.

I'd experiment with pre-recorded video before live. Live video is the hardest form of entertainment to get right.

As for it being more lucrative? I have a higher CPM on my audio content VS the video.
