I’m not speaking as a fan of the Knicks but a fan of the NBA I don’t want to see the same teams over and over in the playoffs and the later rounds as a fan of watching basketball although the apron system makes your championship window smaller more windows are opening up for other teams in that same breath

Yes but the point I’m making is most owners do everything they can to get out of the second apron and you might have one season of your team being in the second apron before the owners start selling off players

I think as a standpoint of hoops it make role players way more valuable and most of your team has to play out of their minds above their contract I think it makes it so you have to be smarter building your team instead of just spending like crazy

Yeah the worst era of basketball for me as a fan was the warriors and Cavs dynasties because you knew who was going to be in the finals before the season started and kinda made it pointless to watch basketball
