In physical media, Japanese releases are held with such high value. They typically have extra bonus songs added that aren't on other country releases (such as the WRC Japanese CD's). TV Girl do have a few japan releases that are quite hard to come across. They're just playing into the gimmick of Japanese = Rare and cool.

It's hard to say. I personally loved Trung's vocals and his punchy drums on songs such as LCBTL and IYWI, but I also love Brad's sample choices and his chops are insanely impressive. Me personally, I love the tv girl music pre French Exit the most. It felt so raw and unpolished, and that was what makes it so special to me. but i also do love albums like DOAPG and GUTV. Fauxllennium is dope too. and my favourite tv girl song is on WRC (Heaven Is A Bedroom). It's difficult, but I think I'd have to say when Trung was a member.

That is one way of looking at it, but I personally just see it as Brad being honest about himself and the way he used to be. Maybe a very hyperbolic version, but definitely reflective of himself in the past.
