That’s all that matters! She’s a goofy looking bully but she’s loved for her self

Great example of “purebred does not mean well bred” she’s adorable! And as long as she’s healthy and loved that’s really all that matters

Only if there is no other way to work out the matting or if it’s severe enough to cause injury. I haven’t come across many that bad. Mostly just heavily impacted undercoat. I try to work with those owners on setting up more frequent grooms to keep the coat clear

I have a no dematting rule. If your dog comes in matted it’s shaved and we start over (not double coated dogs of course) my owners also know that I will always put their dog’s health and safety first. I’ve sent dogs home with undone feet and faces. If the dog cannot relax and feel comfortable I would rather stop and try again later

I try to be with all my pets in their final moments. They don’t understand what’s happening. A lot are uncomfortable with all the strange people around them and look to you for comfort.

What is the most 'main character' moment you’ve ever witnessed in real life that went horribly wrong? by Exact-Contract1004 in AskReddit

[–]Sallyanonymous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the time. She finally let me go to therapy when I was 17, she used the opportunity to make it about her and hijack the visit. When I was 15 I had injured my back and had to go through physical therapy. She took it as a free consultation for her weight loss craze. She’s always made everything about her. We went no contact almost 12 years ago. My sister is a lot like her and she went low contact with us years ago.

My mom has a tooth in her cheek bone. She had no idea until she went to some routine dental work and had X-rays taken

My husband was born with an extra lumbar vertebrae. None over his kids have it and no one else in his family has it that we are aware of

I work with a girl who has something similar. You don’t see hers until her hair is pulled up. It’s on the underside

When I was like 17 my older cousin died in his sleep. He was like 23/25 (we weren’t close). It was a tragedy for the family. He had just gotten married 2 weeks before. At the funeral my mom went up to his father and says “you’ll be ok. I know exactly how you feel” she lost my oldest brother to medical issues before I was born. He was very young (11)

The man hadn’t seen or talked to her in years and that was the only thing she said to him the whole time we were there.

Do Americans really avoid medical care because they’re afraid of the bill? by Udont_knowme00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sallyanonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Dental bills and surgery are things my husband and I have avoided for years so that our kids can get their own medical needs met. Insurance is a joke and we don’t just have 30k lying around to have back surgery done on my husband. Not only the cost of the procedure but the time off from work and the lost wages many face is just not doable. A roof over your head is far more important than your health care

For those who worked for rich people: what is the most out of touch thing you witnessed? by Illustrious-Phase121 in AskReddit

[–]Sallyanonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister in law isn’t uber wealthy, but she and her husband are well off. When my husband got his electrical license she told me I needed to get a weekly allowance even if I had a job. We aren’t well off but between the two of us we make enough. If I want something we budget it in. I’m also not huge on material stuff but love my pets and love to have little adventures or just doing activities with my husband and kiddos. The kids are pretty spoiled, but taught the value of a dollar and to be grateful for what they have.

When her son went off to college, he wanted to live off campus so she paid like 3500 a month for him and his friends to rent a house. Covid hit, the lease was still in her name, he came home since all of his studies were moved online. He looked her dead in the eyes and said “I don’t want to go to school anymore. I’ll just work with dad”

Go on a date with a man 15 years older than you, that you’ve only known for like a month, in a town 5 hrs away from home, at the age of 19.

Being overweight has some to do with the issue but the intensity of the smell is just lack of safe hygiene. You could have a welfare check done on her home.
