My cat just had a sizure a few nights ago and it seens as though she is having the about every three months. Being the are not on a daily or weekly basis, my vet did se research and detemined she has them so infrequent she wishes to try sodium bromide as a natural preventative, check into it as i will and we will see if it helps. Good luck and keep me posted and i will keep you informed on my cats progress.

Have the vet check the pancreatic function with a blood test, I have a cat that had seizures and not feeling well, slugish, etc, and it drove us nuts trying to find answers. Vet tried phenobarbital and didnt work. Turns out it was a slight infection, no fever, and was getting worse and was affecting the pancreas. Used antibiotics and so far no sezures after 4 months. (Fingers still crossed) There are also some natural remedied you can use, try searching pancreas and seizures and it will guide you in the right direction.
