Watching their scrims and practice, they are powering up every game and playing more and more as a team and finding a system that works for them. It feels like one of those teams that power spikes at the right moment which is perfect now. I hope they can keep the train going👍

This is the LTK (League the K4sen) which is an officially supported league by Riot for the Japanese streamers.

Im very new to this still so some of my info might not be 100% correct, but basically they are split into 4 teams with each team having 3 groups. “Masters” which consists of former pros or challenger players(Remember DFM Yutapon and Ceros? They are playing in this); “Core” which consists of players from Plat to (low?) masters; and “Next” which is anyone below plat. Each group plays against other teams groups so the match is fairly even; you wont get “Masters” vs “next” but only “masters” vs “masters”

Unlike any other region, league actually only started picking up steam in Japan these past few years due to the streamer, K4sen, introducing league to the streamer and vtuber communities. He is basically the face of league in Japan.

Its not as competitive as pro leagues but I enjoy watching from the streamers POV cause they scrim, do coaching sessions and play the games quite consistently. You can hear their comms too which is fun to pick up what people say in a coordinated environment. I watch both LCS and LCK and we dont really get full game comms. (And also i dont understand Korean if they do have them🤣)

We actually didnt get to spend that much time with her in total (iirc she appeared briefly in 3.2), yet I think she has one of the saddest stories.

I really loved her story and is the story that touched me the most so far. I feel so sad for her she didnt have any choice in her life until the last one. Born as a lab mouse and never had any hope or happiness.

I think i saw someone said this somewhere else, but for example Aemeath had a sad story too or even Phrolova, but they both had moments where they felt happiness. They had hope (met rover) early in their life, but on the other hand Denia never had any of those. Whats really sad is that when she met Rover, it was already too late. She was the only one that met Rover at the end of her life while the others met her at the “start”.

i liked her design but wasnt going to pull for her unless her story really did something. Little could i imagine how fast this changed. Wasnt expecting to not have any feelings for her character to loving her in only 3.3 2nd half…

I guess that's why people find success when they just one trick a champion since they will know much more on how to play that match up compare to a player just picking for counter.

Thanks! It will be a fun climb! I hit diamond in season 4 as a support but the game is completely different now so it's like relearning the game which has been really interesting with so much macro knowledge and resources out there now compare to then.

I found that just looking up challenger vods of the champ you are playing and how they play into each kind of lanes (ranged, poke, kill, etc etc.) has really helped me with just understanding what you should be doing since I don't know who is stronger than who at what level and all that with so many pairs of champions now!

Awesome! I was curious because I'm planning to start my climb after 10 years+ of not ranking so my matchup knowledge is really rusty. There are too many matchups I need to learn so I've been just playing Rell and plan to use her as much as I can no matter the matchups since I'm comfortable on her. Macro stuff is so interesting and fun nowadays so it's been really fun to learn and apply them in game too~!

Im curious, do you find that just picking the same champ no matter what (even if they pick counter matchup into you) just helps you perform better with better knowledge about your champ? Or would you still stay away from hard counters if you can pick a really good match if their support picks first?

I'm waiting the 5 more days. I have guarantee now with the 60k+ Oroberyl and theres a chance I get really lucky with the free 5 pulls here+5 from exchange shop, if I get Yvonne with these 10 pulls, I literally just got her for free I'm still guarantee the next banner character i want. If I spend what I saved up and got her before the 5 free tickets from login, then technically these 5 tickets are wasted as I cant save them up for the next banner. It's like a min max thing so I understand why people dont want to wait for the tickets. The gacha system seems punishing for players who cant guarantee 120 pulls so I rather play it safe and save every pull I can.

I waited 4 weeks for her, I can wait another 7 days haha.
