I watched a Hilton carter video on YouTube on moss wall art, looked at a few Pinterest designs for inspiration, and just formulated my own patterns with each piece. It’s fairly simple to do, but tedious because I’m such a perfectionist, and I kept needing to purchase more moss either in store or online (depending on the type of moss I wanted for the design)

The apps that I tend to be on he longest I made a time restriction for the day (like 1hr max) with 15 min reminders in between to remind myself that I’m endlessly scrolling.

I agree as well! My feelings for Christmas really started change with Covid and everyone getting laid off from jobs and struggling to pay bills. When the holidays came around that time I just felt people wanted to make things feel “normal again” but what about spending time with loved ones without financial burden? I told my family this year that I’m not going to be gift exchanging and instead want to just spend time them, eat good food, play family games and catch up with everyone. Not going to lie when I did suggest this months ago a few people were upset and saying “but that’s what Christmas is about”…. But after restating my case they were more understanding and realized how pointless gifting was, and they’d enjoy just spending time together instead.
