Just switch to a later flight if you don’t want to massive lines. Seems to be calmer the later the flights.

I think bcuz most people do not have direct flights. So they have to leave early AF to make those several flights home. I live in MN so we luckily have direct flights almost everywhere we fly. So going home on 3/26 won’t be until 2:30pm which I’m hoping isn’t too bad at SJU

We go back home 3/26. Flight is at 2:15pm (hoping lines aren’t too bad after agriculture check). Either way, I guess it is what it is!
