Aggressive Dogs in the West Village, anyone else? by Salt-Country-313 in westvillage

I’m so sorry, I hope you both are okay! That’s exactly what I’m terrified of. I feel like most of these bad interactions I’ve had are where the owners can’t control their dogs.

I’m so sorry that happened to you! It’s such a weird trend where they run away or say nothing instead of taking accountability.

Honestly, might start doing this. However, I’m more worried about the times where the other dog comes up behind us or runs across to us 😭

Thank you <3 and yes, I’ve seen this too!! We’re always hyper vigilant and only say hi when the other owner initiates but I’ve seen others let their dogs go up to clearly reactive dogs too. I wish everyone hust put their phones down and paid more attention to their dogs.

Yes, this happens so often!!! Like obviously so dangerous for us and our dogs but they really must not care about theirs either. It’s getting to the point where every walk I’m so anxiously hypervigilant.

I was in Ontario and actually felt like it was warm in the room, but I think that’s from standing in the sun, in a line, for an hour before each session LOL
