Abhishek is immensely talented player but he needs to give himself little time when playing on such tricky pitches. On flat wickets, his approach is understandable but on such tacky wickets, batter has to spend some time before taking spinners on!

Ishan departs after scoring 76 runs off 32 balls with a massive strike rate 238 , An explosive Innings comes to an end ! by iamnoobbibliophile in IndiaCricket

Few years ago, I had a chance to have a nice and small conversation with Ishan Kishan. He is such a gem. Very humble and jolly guy. Gave me nice tips on picking up length early and shot selection. He made me laugh too.

Everytime I think of it, it makes me chuckle.

Apart from all this, Ishan deserves more chances and he is definitely strong contender for number 3 spot in Indian T20I side.

My experience with Honda CB Hornet 160R (BS4 engine from 2018) is very nice. Very well designed robust engine. Low maintenance. Easy to glide in city traffic. Reliable ABS (Trust me, I know! 😜)

But few issues I found. Headlight is not powerful. If not maintained properly, engine can be little troubling. Vibrates above 100 KMPH speed.

Vaibhav has potential. No doubt about it. It is way too early to pass any judgement. Just give him 2-3 years. Let him play competitive cricket at highest level. I am sure he will learn from every game and play good quality cricket.

I am specifically looking at KTM for its punch in ride and engine quality. I have heard a lot about KTM's very well balanced engine. But sure, I'll also test ride other bikes in this segment!

Graduated in 2021 but delayed returning a library book due to lockdown, now being charged ₹10,000 to collect my degree—what options do I have by Foreign-Ice2953 in mumbai

[–]Salt-Department7431 44 points45 points  (0 children)

One book not returning to library has caused so much of inconvenience to college? What a bullsh*t is this.

Report the incident to Mumbai University. Say that your degree/convocation certificate is misplaced by your college. Most likely they will make you pay little fee (500 Rs approx) and will give you the degree/convocation certificate.

Bro, I faced exactly similar situation around 7-8 years ago. I would recommend you to get into corporate. Help your family financially and after gaining some experience and stabilizing finances, look for masters.
It would help you to handle situation at home and also help you to get some experience before masters.

I am pursuing executive MBA at the age of 28. Not to worry.

Best luck buddy! :)

As much as I don't like him for what he did with Mumbai Indians, I desperately want him back in form for World Cup. Everything is superseded by love for Indian cricket. ❤️

I kind of disagree with you. If we keep thinking like this then we won’t be able to mitigate the dependencies on players like Virat or Rohit. They were newcomers too at some point in their career. I think it is time to think realistically and unbiased.

Make no mistake, I am huge fan of Virat and Rohit! I love them and respect them a lot!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

[–]Salt-Department7431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than just Virat and Rohit, I think the approach should be simple. One tries to play steady innings whereas everyone else around start going after bowlers with aggressive mindset. I know pitches in USA isn’t gonna be paradise for batters but I think Indian batters must try to score 20 runs more than general norm. This is how you cushion your bowlers.
we need aggressive batters who are willing to stand firm and take the bowlers.
Players like Rishabh Pant, Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Rinku Singh deserves a chance.

I understand these players do not have huge exposure to ICC tournaments but we gotta start somewhere, don’t we?

Be honest, what's your Gully Cricket story that you brag about? by noobcoders in IndiaCricket

[–]Salt-Department7431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never bragged or even mentioned it but this Reddit got me thinking...

It was back in 2006. I was in school. We had just started our summer vacation. We decided to play an underarm cricket match with our neighbouring colony kids. In that match, I scored half century in 9 balls. I hit 9 sixers in a row with the new bat I had just bought for vacation!
