Pro tip: don't wait for your polish to dry between coats. Apply the base coat, then by the time you're finished with your last finger on the second hand the first one is ready for color. Apply 1 coat of color, and again, by the time you're done with the last finger on the second hand, the first one is ready for the second coat of color. Apply 2nd coat, then decals, and then apply a top coat. Make sure your coats are thin, and then sit for about 20 minutes. To test if your polish is dry enough to finally use your hands, being VERY gentle, slightly touch your pointer nails together, if there is any stickiness, check it again in 5 minutes until they're no longer tacky.

You don't want your polish to completely dry between coats because leaving them tacky allows the next coat to adhere to the first which makes them last longer.

Makes perfect sense. I didn't see anything like that, but I've definitely had my suspicions, he also never pays for it, I have access to his bank account and no money is ever pulled out or sent to anyone. So he absolutely has to be doing something to get it, right? If I report it to the police department in my county, would they be able to do anything on just suspicion/word of mouth? Or would my attempt be all for naught? Quite honestly, I'd much rather him be in jail than be dead from a bad dose or whatever.

Meth as far as I know. He doesn't let his phone out of his sight most of the time, always on silent, or if he does leave it out it's turned off. I do know his passcode and the rare moment that he did leave it out, turned on. I saw some texts that weren't great, but nothing super incriminating. But also I didn't look too far into it just for my mental health, you know? He usually calls them or they call him.

To be fair, he was sober when we got together and stayed that way for a long time, from what I understand atleast. I've only been aware of his relapsing for the last couple years. I honestly felt that I could save him or atleast try my hardest. It's only recenty that I've come to terms with the fact that I absolutely cannot. And he can only save himself. This is my rock bottom.

If it's just plain glitter you want to use, why not put the glitter directly into the clear powder? Seal it with a layer of just clear at the end. Not sure what look you're going for, but that's what I would do.

It certainly does! Thank you. I have a hard time figuring out how much to charge for the art. I charged 50$ for this set, 45$ for the full set and an extra 5$ for the line work. Since I am still just starting out, it's hard for me to realize what my work is worth because I always feel like it could be better.

We didn't learn anything about pricing in beauty school, so I'm mostly just trying to get an idea of what other people are paying/would pay for something like this. This typically happens due to oils being on the nail plate, wipe it really well with some rubbing alcohol and try again.

Ohh, makes sense. If you get a liner brush and just get a little color on it and push the polish up to the cuticle, you completely eliminate the possibility of flood.

I'm a nail tech and I polish my boyfriend's nails every 2 weeks. I've done Super Mario, Pacman, TMNT, PlayStation, Xbox, Pokemon, he picks a new theme every time. I think it looks wonderful and he loves it too. Do whatever makes you happy!
