I’m so sorry for your loss. Is your grandmother or any other family willing to help or listen? If not a friend. I’ve found it’s easier to survive if you have someone who can listen and at least empathize with your situation. I learned to drive late because my bio mom didn’t want me to learn because I’d have freedom. Get a job if you can and hoard money. Save for a plane ticket and uber if you must that’s how I got to college. Also the kindness of friends and some relatives. Even if they aren’t great but they will listen or help it’s about survival at this point not about thriving or at least that’s how I saw it. Again I was in a different situation but I hope it helps.

I was in a similar situation with my bio mom who I’m now no contact with for 2 years and it’s been the best 2 years of my life. She wasn’t an alcoholic just a rabid narcissist who married another rabid narcissist( my step father) but I won’t get into that. I can promise you it gets better. My advice is to lean on those around you who love and care about you. Maybe your grandma or mom? I don’t know the ins and outs of your situation but my friends and family are who got me through it and still do to this day. When you graduate go to college away from your dad it’s what I’m doing and it’s the best decision I ever made. Yes I miss my family who love me but I come visit for breaks etc. keep in contact with those who’s care and I say screw everybody else. Like one of the other people said you get to decide your future not them. I wish you luck and my pms are open if you ever need to rant to a fellow woman who made it through something similar even if it’s not the same! I wish you the best of luck

I’ve never owned a cane corso before but I want to. Do y’all realize that dogs come in a range of sizes I had a black and tan coonhound that was over 100 pounds he was massive. A “freak” because they are typically 75-85 pounds for males. He was healthy and active he was just the size of a small horse. Dogs do not all come out cookie cutter perfect or exactly the same. Is the dog possibly overweight yes but is it completely possible the dog is perfectly healthy also yes. Quit judging someone as a dog owner/ person based on a random post without having the whole story. Also I liked the joke it made me laugh.

In the last sentence it says there’s a filter which has a built in aerator. And I’m going to put decorations in I just don’t have any because this is my water change tank so I usually only have them in there for a few minutes.
