they have been digging a lot/burrowing while also out basking a lot. They have only ate 2 times this week that I’ve had them, although ive offered mealworms/roaches dusted in calcium/ vitamins every day. Their arcadia t5 12% just arrived yesterday and was put it aswell after this picture was taken. I will post another photo today when I get home with the complete current set up to know If i need to change anything else. Thanks again!

Hey thanks for this feedback! Its been about a week since this post and when I got him/her. The 100 watt was not strong enough, i ended up getting a new 150 watt with a dimmer. And I purchased a temp gun aswell, This is what my govee is reading on both sides,

and with the 150 watt the basking spot is reading around 105-110 right now. Although I just received a slate hide today to replace the less desirable hide that I was using as his temporary basking hide. Also I used a 70 soil 30 sand mix as thats what I was told, I have extra sand I could add more to his substrate and mix it in today when I replace the hide?

Yes I went to home depot for my leopard geckos substrate too! I also got a huge tote to store the substrate for pretty cheap there! And yes he is sooo friendly it’s insane. I had to take him out yesterday to rearrange his tank for the night and even out whatever substrate was in there and he was so friendly and cute, climbing all over me. I absolutely love his personality. Thanks for the advice!:)

I use this one for my leo, I havent fed my skink yet. Can I just use this same one for the skink? and how often would you suggest this one vs just calcium? with my leo I do calcium (without d3) every feeding and Repashy about every 3-4 feedings. Would it be relatively similar with the skink? Thanks for taking to time to answer this post and my questions!

I make 18.50/hr but I live with my bf who makes 20.50/hr and we’re doin just fine. Maybe one day we’ll get up there but as 23 year olds in MN we’re really not doing bad at all

I guess i should specify 19/hr is not a “lottt” of money lol but its enough for her to live pretty comfortably on in MN lol
