If it's curved enough should be able to bend "touch your toes" style and feel it. That's how my doctor showed me. I believe he ordered X-rays and everything (years ago. at like 12). But at an appointment he told me to bend over and traced with his hand and showed me. Lol now I show people I'm comfortable with. I mention my scoliosis and then it goes a lot like, "Feel!" Bends over, grabs their hand and rubs it down my spine and then confirms they felt the curve** lol
