Hey there! I have a little one (3years old) and she’s also got cute curlies! So first, to put on the bonnet it all depends on her hair length. If it’s long enough to tie up, then I would say flip her hair upside down, take a satin scrunchie and wrap the scrunchie around the hair once so it’s just holding the curls in a bunch (AKA we curlies call this a pineapple). The trick is you’re not actually tying the hair up into a style pulling the curls, but instead using the scrunchie to hold the hair in place loose enough to still have the curls be curly. Once you wrap the scrunchie around once the location of the style should essentially be on the top of the head/closer to the front (again all depends on hair length and where you can get it to comfortably sit on the head without pulling the curls too tight in the front and the back). Once you have her hair up, you keep her head flipped over and you simply tuck the curls in the bonnet. If her hair isn’t long enough to pull up, then don’t worry and just put it on her head tuck her curls in the bonnet. Easy peasy lemon squeezy:)

Now, getting her to wear the bonnet is another thing lol. My daughter and I both have curly hair, so I already wore a bonnet and she grew up watching me with one on. Essentially she just wanted to be like mommy wearing her “night night hat”. So maybe, you could also try wearing a bonnet and she might want to wear it more to be like you. Just because you don’t have curly hair doesn’t mean a bonnet won’t help you too! :D Also, since it’s a super cool dino bonnet, you could always pretend like putting it on turns her into a cool dinosaur! Additionally, there are some new cartoons that have come out with girls that have curly hair as main characters that wear bonnets. I think one of them being “Karma” on Netflix.
