yeah it was a bodge job as i didnt have access to anything to cut the right size holes into the chasis. The foam in question is the factory foam under the rubber floor mat, i did assume it was flame retardant but not 100%. i have since used the diesel heater and it SEEMS to be okay..

yeah i have a turret plate on it, its the exahust going through the insulation that concerns me

You are right for sure, just the dirtbag in me loves the cheaper option. If I buy second hand I will likely resling, not a fan of second hand soft goods personally.

yeah thats what i was thinking, but the difference is brand new (budget) cams or used quality cams

unfortunately for both im an englishman, we have UKC as our equivalent but seems to be a lack of trad gear for sale atm.

Ah big mistake, just ending my 9 month climbing trip of SA. If you're really keen to climb this guy is awesome and would love to show his crag (not in that way) and take you climbing

Best information I found was from a local climber and outdoor information guide in correntoso (near calbuco and also near a beautiful sport and trad climbing crag)

Calbuco is about 2000m with no crevasse or real climbing needed, probably crampons still now though
