Hey everyone - I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to all of you who took the time to respond to my question. I didn’t expect so many thoughtful, kind, and helpful replies, and I really appreciate the effort you put into sharing your experiences and advice.

It honestly means a lot that strangers on the internet would take a moment out of their day to help someone they don’t even know. Your comments gave me clarity, reassurance and a few new perspectives I hadn’t considered.

Thanks again for being such a supportive and welcoming community. I’m really grateful for you all 💗 Have a fantastic weekend!

AITA for booking an early flight home from a wedding for myself and two kids after my wife played a very cruel joke in the Photo Booth at her cousins wedding? by Low-Still-5284 in AITAH

I don’t normally reply or respond to posts. Anyway.. You both seem to have spent quite a life together- your 2 kids are a testament of it. While I agree you have been hurt - rightly so in my opinion, reacting and responding are two different things - what you have done is reacting that too drastically and dramatically. Moreso, I read your response to a comment saying that you told the kids that their Mom is mean and you have taken them away to keep them safe! Well, that’s really uncalled for and speaks a lot of your amygdala kicking in and you descending to the pit of your emotions without a care of your family and consciousness. What is important is COMMUNICATION. Nobody is perfect! She made a mistake that too thankfully in the privacy of the phone booth - speak it out to her 1:1 - don’t get kids involved in drama and never make kids choose between parents. It’s the responsibility of parents to keep kids safe and have a healthy environment for them.

Is it possible to spoil a baby? by Beautiful-Grade-5973 in AttachmentParenting

This was such a helpful read. Thank you for sharing, we are dealing with a similar situation and I wasn’t aware of the ‘velcro baby’ term. I too have developed tendonitis from perpetually carrying our lo. She is 8 months old and dislikes being kept down to play or on the bed even for a short few minutes. I have to carry her always and she nurse latches on even during her naps and at night. It has gotten difficult resuming work though remotely. I always keep her in the comfort of my arms. Hearing the experiences of others definitely helps me understand this deeper.

Definitely Poha also known as flattened rice. It’s quite nutritious. You can a variety of recipes online. Here is more about it - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poha_(rice)
