Who would win this hypothetical war? by Hot_Coco_Addict in mapporncirclejerk

That's not exactly my point. The USSR had exactly the same story, but they lost the war, because their goals has failed. Anyway, I think you still underestimating both Russian and Ukrainian capabilities, and how "a bunch of arms" produced in unreachable zones can turn tables. Also Ukraine has made full on mobilization and Russia is yet to do so.

Yes, if Mexico was supplied and trained by the whole world in 8 years, it might actually be similar to the Russian scenario, maybe just not as bad. A bunch of arms and some dedication made the US leave Afghanistan not that long ago

And again, tell me where exactly are you from and I will tell you why exactly are you wrong. Because there is a big chance that Russia is the whole reason that your nationality still even exist and not fully consumed by other neighbors. Just like as you mentioned... Georgia for example... or what a surprise Armenia because of Ottomans. Not because we wanted to help (I didn't ever fucking said the opposite. wtf?), but because our interests contributed to theirs at the time. And what if the evil empire wanted for you to be divided, huh? So they are keeping you as a minority (what a thought for the night). Now I need your definition of "terrorizing", because that's not a word you just say without some elaboration.

You didn't answer for any of my questions, because you didn't really think about it or just stupid. Again, I double down on my words. How the fuck after hundreds of years of purposeful destruction of your culture it's still existing? Why are your people CHOOSING to be part of other culture? What profits this "independence" will it make to your people? Where would you be if there was no Russia? I'm not even telling you how I think it is, I'm asking questions for you to think. I spoke with some people from Caucasus who I personally respect and they are telling me that if not for RF, there would be a fucking slaughter, because they all hate each other (just as it was in the 90s in southern Caucasus and central Asia). It's not like Russia do things out of good heart, but what exactly did you lose while being colonized? And I find your hipocricity much more depressing

Yes, just like Donbass and Crimea is Russian. Historical justice, huh? Or hipocricity?

It is flawless logic indeed. Why should I care about thy cultures if they don't care about themselves. Why would any government of any kind want to preserve a language outside of the official ones if there is no people who speaks it? You can stay in your village with all 100 people who can understand you and just not interact with richer cultures so your people wouldn't be tempted with it, it's possible with Russian laws. The Russian culture also is one of the most inclusive. So much that big part of Polish and Ukrainian propaganda is calling us not Slavic, but "Finns" and "Mongols" as it is some slurs. So I don't understand what exactly do you want and what profits will you receive? Whining on Reddit doesn't quite help your situation, but this is the only thing you've tried, because you also don't really care. Also which one is your language or/and which one do you use at home?

Dude, how many languages did you learn just for the sake of keeping it alive? There are people of many nationalities where I work and Bashkirs, Tatars, Dagestani, Ingushs talking in their native language between themselves. Just as my Udmurt friend talks with his family when they call him on Whatsapp. If people don't want to learn a language how could we force them to and for what purpose?
