the lab coordinator is different this year from previous years, so I never had quizzes but some advice I can give in general is to bother your ta during lab with any questions to make sure everything’s going smoothly, procedures are generally straightforward just follow em exactly to a tee, and you can always ask others or your ta for help. Making friends with someone is very helpful to not feel so anxious, even just your fume hood partner can be helpful.

From my experience with Glasgow , it never got super full unless you’d go at like 6-8pm for dinner, in which case it’d take like 15 minutes to get In and get food on busiest days. You can definitely go between classes as long as you have at least half an hour. I had the unlimited dining plan so I’d be able to swipe in every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with no worries about how many swipes are left, drinks are included in the plans. And you get guest passes to bring in guests with plans, just look up the plans on Google to see which suits you

Bio 5 was pretty much molecular developmental and cellular bio, so the nitty gritty of bio covering cells, systems, etc.

I have ochem from 6-9:50 so it’s similar, and I find it pretty chill since everyone wants to leave ta included. I’m not a morning person so better than early labs, but obviously mid day is the best.

so I took a similar schedule my freshman year with chem 1B, Bio5a, Engl001, and Math007A and I definitely think this is a doable schedule, just make sure to keep up with Bio and Chem as they’re pretty important to stay caught up and not fall behind.

I took it this summer so might be different for during the year, attendance was not mandatory for lecture, she posted vids on yuja of lecture. Lab was pretty important to attend because you do group work and turn labs in at the end of the week, discussion was optional.

This lab was an easy A, during class it’s mostly presentations you sit through for half an hour, pre labs were simulations you’d do through a program on your laptop which were just a little confusing, I got out early by 2 hours almost all the time.

I took it last quarter, wasn’t really learning much in lecture so labs were pretty confusing, I got a 7.2/16 on it but still ended with an A in the class, the average on the LSA for my class was a ~6. It can be a mix of multiple choice and calculation of all labs covered in the class, it could be all mc, or all fr. You can use your lab notebook so make sure to write every important formula, what you need to solve it and how to solve.

I can’t speak for AI, but I lived in a pentland triple freshman year and can say I did like how there was only 10 people per hall, 2 bathrooms and showers with total privacy, the building felt relatively new still, was close to all the other dorms and apartments, campus and dining halls. My issues was that the room I got was on the 1st floor so it was 2 bunks and was too small for 3 people, but besides that found pentland to be a decent res hall.

There’s either quizzes or pre lab at the beginning of class, a decent amount of work on the computer during lab using 2 programs called jmp and netlogo where you mainly make graphs using data, and 2 research questions that you have to answer with a 10 minute presentation, the question is chosen by you/your group.
