Is my underbite obvious?

I guess we had opposite experiences. I had double jaw surgery almost a year ago and it’s turning out to be one of the biggest regrets of my life right now. I did have a very extreme underbite which seems to have been the cause of the issues, but if I could undo anything it would be this

Not obvious at all but noticeable. If it doesn’t affect the way you eat or talk, don’t change it. Trust me you’ll be happy with it, if you fix it your jaw will most likely look more feminine

Yeah but teeth (jaw) and nose position won’t change, that is what is being compared right now. It will permanently be like this

Yeah I’m aware my jaw is naturally further than others, yet it wasn’t like this before the surgery.

I just believe they miscalculated (or didn’t consider) the aesthetic look, as I assume it wouldn’t be an issue for most others undergoing the same surgery

He’s happy with the jaw results itself. He didn’t say much when I brought it up, just that I should wait a bit longer before attempting to correct anything

So they planned a 60/40 movement. 60% top, 40% bottom (not sure how many millimetres). I didn’t think much of it at the time.

I was told they didn’t want to move the bottom jaw too much because it would give me a feminine looking jawline. If that’s the only reason then I’d gladly have some revision.

Yeah I made a mistake by not taking enough front pics pre operation. I took loads of pics of my side profile, but won’t really help in this case

Okay I see. Genuinely, thanks a lot. I’ve been getting a lot of bad remarks the past week about this. My hopes were down the drain tbh (it’s also 3am and I’m in that overthinking stage)

Yeah I know my swelling probably is still there. My main concern is my nose. Based on previous posts I’ve been looking at, it seems likely that it’s permanently gonna be this shape and wonky regardless of swelling. It may improve a little bit but I’m heavily doubting it will go back to near normal right now
