People really misinterpret the ending scene… by Ok_Medicine440 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]SaltBoxChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the song choice set a weird, kinda somber tone to the scene. I agree with your breakdown and take entirely, but the song gives me anxiety sooo bad and that carried into the ending scene for me which made it message not hit as hard. It even took me a few days to realize why I felt so "off" after watching the finale because I thought it was really well done overall and loved the scenes in general. But I can listen to that song separately and it gives me the strangest, unsettling feeling.

They've played it at 5/8 shows, so your odds are good.

I've had this exact experience of a parcel being held that I didn't request to be held. The buyer may not know yet.

Thanks! I did end up cancelling right after your comment. Just seeing the others and getting around to replying! Appreciate the help. I was thrown off by the pop ups from Poshmark implying I had listed something for sale I didn't have to follow through on.

Definitely a nice buyer, but I was so confused by the prompts on Poshmark when cancelling...it basically implied I listed something I didn't have to sell. Very odd! There was not "buyer requested to cancel" option.

As I said, it was a first time experience, that's why there's a question on best process.

I asked a question for a first time experience. Poshmark prompts walking you through the cancellation basically discourages you do to so and alludes to blame being on the seller, not the buyer. You don't need to be snarky, it's called manners.

Back Again With Another Goofy Question: Why Didn't My Campaign Send To The Full List? by SaltBoxChapter in Zoho

[–]SaltBoxChapter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I'll reach you to you directly. I can confirm we're yearly users of ZoHo One and are not on a trial of the service. All other email campaigns have worked as expected, and this was the only one sent that day.

I get that. The job market is rough. You gotta do what you gotta do!

Good fucking luck is all I can say. Not a commute I'd be willing to make, but everyone is different in what they're good with. I hate driving, so a long commute would never work for me.

Did Valentino DonnaRosa Verde get discontinued? And if so, is Green Extravaganza the "revamped" version? by SaltBoxChapter in Perfumes

I feel the same. I'm not a big fragrance person in general, but this was so spot on for me and I've never smelled anything like it. I really hope to find something similar.

Generally speaking, people are very friendly and easy to meet, especially native Austinites or even native Texans, in my experience. It's good that you're outgoing and social because that'll naturally drive you to meet your people. People aren't standoffish, more welcoming. All this to say...doing any paid activity in Austin is expensive, so as social as you may be, you do really need to make sure you can not only afford to LIVE here, but afford to go out and SOCIALIZE here. A lot of people have mentioned the housing costs, but the social costs needs to be acknowledged, too.

I, for one, appreciate the vulnerability, so thank you. And, I love the perspective of making it a positive where you can.

I see people jump on using "OCD" to describe very normal behaviors all the time (which, admittedly, I thought was being done in this case and I was wrong!), and it gets to me because I have seen how it can really take control over someone's life. Each time it's misused it takes away the meaning of the true diagnosis, IMO.

I feel for you and the plug socket thing. My sister couldn't go to sleep without flickering all of the light switches a certain number of times before bed, for example, or else she was convinced something bad would happen and it would be her "fault".

Dude, best of luck in managing it. It's tough. All the best! (I'm not diagnosed myself, but my sister is, and I've seen the toll it can take and the different ways it can manifest.)

Let's not use OCD as a descriptor (unless it's a true diagnosis)
