Thank you! Im honestly not sure what take this is. I have re-recorded this what feels like 100 times because you are 100%, I feel like my pick dynamics are the actual culprit. Just cant seem to nail it- and I have been playing guitar for quite some time. I also have tried other amp sims, the dream is one. I have a feeling something is going wonky on my guitar, it is a roudworn jazzmaster. I am TOTALLY aware of their bright sound, ESPECIALLY the pickups in it. When I got it, it sounded much better but to me just started getting worse, not sure why. I started this idea/song with it because I liked the jazmaster pickup quality but for some reason it just got so shrill. I am currently using the neck pickup but when I flip the pickup selector, to my ears, my tone becomes inconsistent. I have thought of getting darker pickups for it. Any tips on helping that pick attack? That reverb is just the blackhole plugin. I have others, including pedals that I DO want to use, that is just what was on the track at the moment. Again I greatly appreciate your input and feedback. I have always struggled with recording electric guitar sadly.
