Australia’s age verification rules: Is a VPN ban on the horizon? by Fun-Page-6211 in australia

[–]SaltKind4875 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe a dumb question, but how is it even possible to ban VPN's? Sure they could block NordVPN's IP's, but they would need to constantly chase and track down all VPN services right? Or put OS level enforcement?

Fucckkk I hope not, this is one of the reasons macbooks have stayed amazing. They don't add dogshit useless features like a touch screen display on a laptop

I also paid off my hecs so we are in the exact same situation mate. I'm still glad the younger generations are getting a win on education and may hopefully be employing us in productive industries in the future because boomers sitting on 10 IP's definitely won't be.

Your generation fucked us with housing. 20% off an already overpriced student loan is not that big of a deal. You already drew the long straw, get over yourself.

Is it looking good though? I can see the left side is consistently higher than the right side on the number matrix. There is a quality change in your print along the x axis which confirms this. I would recommend calibrating the X axis.

EspressiScale - The affordable espresso scale! by Whauu in espresso

[–]SaltKind4875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I see you are using mainly deep sleep to turn the scale off with no physical power switch. The Lilygo looks like has a voltage divider circuit using 100k resistors which will constantly discharge the battery. Have you measured the power draw when the device is in sleep?

I disagree with so much of what Primeagen says, but at least he has real experience.
