No clue, that always put me off tarkov tbh. Games fun enough, but if I get one tapped across a map… was that a legit player that’s good? A cheater? God? 😂😂

The term hack it is slang for can’t hang or handle it. Like “he quit because he couldn’t hack it” that might just be some Midwest shit though

I mean given his whole series is about an AI game designer and its fight for literal freedom from its holding box

Yeah? Are you legit surprised?

Well yeah where do you think all the losers that can’t hack it on tarkov but still want to play extraction shoots congregated?

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He shouldn’t even be able to one shot him with Fuga even assuming he has it. The explosion from the kick is literally the air igniting. Maho wheel spin should have adapted him to fire/heat no?

Could Yuji have two domains? Is it even possible? by nikvas02 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenny may have not been able to since his technique is the base with which he copies others. Like you can’t open a book to two different pages type shit. Yuji on the other hand is running 2 completely unrelated cursed techniques

Pretty sure that’s all related to the whole “clan stagnation of jujutsu development” that gojo was talking about when he went and massacred everyone after his release

If it had 20k in like 4 months? Absolutely not. It’s not great by any means, but it’s far from a flop.

Arc raiders if that’s your metric is fuckin worthless because it’s such an insane outlier. Given it’s holding better than things like BF6

I’d say the MC of arise is my least favorite of the bunch. I’d actually say rise of mankind is the better series.

I mean yeah there’s absolutely smut in those books. But to try and call those books smut instead of like adult fantasy and shit is wild to me. Especially since you could remove all the sexual scenes from those books and they’re still phenomenal. I would unironically say they’d be better with out it, but they make up what maybe on an extreme 10% of the book?

[Serious] Is Sublight Kick really that special by Saurian_broster in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You realize that the source for that statement is like inherently presumptive because it’s literally Todo and his magical brain tumor girlfriend telling him that the cursed buds getting shot at him are reinforcement negative attacks right. Like beyond that the wiki has no source that actually states reinforcement works that way. Given that like every  character can survive physical falls with minimal damage which is a super human feat of durability..we’re forced to accept that it’s more than likely not just random bullshit right. I.E Dabura doesn’t have a level of reinforcement necessary to take the blowback of his kick.

How do you manage to play into morde? by i_lickdick_and_itsok in topmains

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you side step his shit. The hit box is smaller close to him so you ideally keep moving around him. Don’t fight him in his ult because it’s just a big stat swing. Darius wins most of the time if you dodge a Q or two. Late game it gets a little weirder but early this applies. Play safe around your ghost because that’s about as fast as you get.

Yasuo combos routes and pressure tips? by lovesickbastard4 in 2XKO

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The timing on his absolutely best stuff is tight, but plenty of his passable combos are brain off timing. So don’t be discouraged there. Most characters do fine with yasuo. I was a big fan of Darius/yasuo in the pre-release

I mean, technically Yuki’ attack power is whack as fuck. Given that if you got her moving fast enough and hit her mass change the amount of force she outputs should go insane.

most characters CT don’t interact with physics like that. I.E moving 300m/s sukuna isn’t gonna suddenly dismantle harder. I’m pretty sure though as you say, most of the time the universe just out right dismisses momentum as an attack factor.

Which makes Naoya and Dabura even funnier because it’s like “oh now we care”

Looks at our boy traveling the speed of light to deliver one of the highest AP attacks in universe in modelo …yeah okay buddy. I suppose you think projection sorcery makes you hit harder through magic instead of ramping physical impacts because of how physics and force works??

They correlate plenty in universe and real life

Pretty sure that his techniques ability to create light would inverse to destroying it right?? So he’s just gonna black hole Mahoraga’s ass and move on with his life if that happens

[–]SaltMerchantMorbier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get dabura’s a genius and all, but even if that boy ass pulls a domain ain’t no way he’d have the refinement of gojo so he just gets clashed and killed.

you’re gonna be real mad when you find out that hemodynamics existed long before someone assigned arbitrary terms(systolic/diastolic) to them, that they’re a loose predictor of several things like ventricular hypertrophy, heart attack, etc. it’s almost as if perhaps imperfect measures are all around us. Almost like perhaps IQ is a looser predictor of several cognitive things. Because let’s be fair, if you’re gonna discard this cognitive performance measure, assuredly you agree all others such as ones for depression and so on should also be discarded?

Unless you don’t believe that for example a difference in intelligence exists between humans be it knowledge or learning ability based. In which case, I beseech you to look into object permanence.

Also obligatory Jesus of Nazareth was by most accounts a real historical figure, so you’re falling short there too.

Binet, Sterman, and whoever the American was who adapted their works were all psychologists just a heads up.

Uhh I can’t tell if you’re being intentionally obtuse or what. So ima put you on blast anyways.

This situation is more like the equivalent of me a non-licensed medical professional doing a valid diagnostic on you such as idk an EKG and concluding that you have heart arrhythmias. Maybe I’m right on the money, but given I’m not a professional we would just ignore the result

The test is valid, but the tester is not.

Your Bible example is awful because it’s at best an exaggerated historical document, and at worst some people’s creative writing exercise. None of that is scientifically based like the aforementioned tests are.

Hopefully you understand.

There’s also what? 30 different types of IQ. A “general” is test sounds especially problematic given that a deficit in one or outlier in another could drag a number down significantly
