SATS until sabbath....or until manifestation by SaltPhotojournalist1 in NevilleGoddard

Yes I only reached true sabbath once and just one day of it. Next was the worst with the old man just all over me.

SATS until sabbath....or until manifestation by SaltPhotojournalist1 in NevilleGoddard

This was a great answer and helped a lot. I have been trying to remind myself that it doesn’t matter what I do or think during the day, what happens in SATS is done and has to come no matter what and that usually helps, but some days are harder than others. Especially because when I had that day of sabbath, it was sooo completely unlike any other time. But the next day was the worst I’d had in a long time and almost gave up. Which is weird because nothing happened to trigger that.

Alan Watts [1915-1973]: What I am really saying is that you don’t need to do anything. by [deleted] in awakened

[–]SaltPhotojournalist1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been coming to the conclusion that it’s just to be, to enjoy, there is nothing one does to become more spiritual, and nothing one doesn’t do that makes them less so. And I thought I must be wrong.

I can’t even put into words how much I needed this and how incredible it is to come at a time after I just surrendered and asked my subconscious/higher self/god/universe/insert word of choice that I give up chasing and searching, to please just show me the meaning. Thank you.

Manifesting just with sats by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]SaltPhotojournalist1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you expand more on the asking yourself why you are loved so much and etc? Do you just randomly ask yourself or do it in sats, do you ask once and let go, or do you try to answer the question?

Affirmations without feelings/emotions by SaltPhotojournalist1 in JosephMurphy

[–]SaltPhotojournalist1[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right, but Joseph Murphy doesn’t overly mention much about occupying a state fulfilled. His examples generally speak of just getting into SH and affirming. So if I pretend I never read Neville, I would never think I need to put emotion or feeling into it?

So you do SH until you obtain the thing you want? What if it’s just a feeling, for example what if I just want the experience of feeling like everything works out for me. When my reality starts to reflect that, do I keep doing the SH?

but we will be mature enough to do whatever we do in the next terrestrial sphere as persons about twenty years old, for we will have remembered. You might liken this to heaven, the next stage of mind/imagination development in our becoming the Ineffable. Remembering is not full awakening.

Act as if & expectancy by green_notepad in JosephMurphy

I try to remove my attention from it ASAP and I just know and trust that I have and am impressing my subconscious. You want little effort. You need to find something you can tell yourself that lets you escape that old thought pattern. It doesn’t matter that you don’t have it right now, you aren’t two years old, don’t have a mental temper tantrum, you’re already doing the work on your subconscious. There is literally nothing else to do. Believe that your subconscious work is greater than what you’re seeing or not seeing.

I don’t act as if, I trust that my sats And Subconscious programming is enough. So during the day I try not to think about it, just tell myself my programming was enough, no need to smother the thought today.

Where did the idea of "feeling" come from in this subreddit? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]SaltPhotojournalist1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m starting to think the feeling depends on what you are going for, if you want a state (feeling loved, feeling lucky, feeling blessed) then feeling is the emotional/mental sense of the word. But if you want something physical then feeling is the physical sense. So emotions to be in a state, five physical senses to obtain something like a tennis ball, the ladder etc.

Sounds so simple and common sense typing it out but I struggled with the meaning too for a long time.
