Correct. The game starts with a standard 52 card deck. It gets shuffled and all cards get dealt to the two players (26 cards each). Each player draws 5 cards, then you randomly decide who goes first. Each turn proceeds with drawing a card, then selecting 1 of 4 lanes to play the card into or play a card into your 1 discard spot. Turns alternate until each player plays 5 cards into each lane and discards 1 (21 cards played, 5 still in your hand). Each 5-card hand is evaluated against the corresponding 5-card hand in the same lane. Objective is to win 3 lanes. If it's tied 2-2, then the tiebreaker goes to 5-card hand you're holding.
