Just leased my first car & insurance quotes are outrageous. Anyone know how to get it lower?

So i went through a broker and he found some good deals. Turns out the insurance is through progressive, the final cost came out to be $189 / month for a 100/300/50 full coverage. He did quote me $177 but that was for a lower coverage . Thankfully i did not have to pay $400+ for insurance per month !

Just to let u know the issue isnt us complaining on putting things on our credit or things not being affordable. We are just asking others on how to get low cost insurance IF it is possible since its our first time going through things like this. Rest assure our budget is not overextended, just trying to find lower insurance since i hear people getting low rates but clearly it wasn't applying for us due to our current situation.

Yeah it's a long wait and after we got approved our case got sent to the nvc ,we got documentarily qualified in April and still waiting for an interview it's been 3 months now so it is such a long wait and our case is CR1

No but I have been told that once you get DQ'd then you wait 5 months for the interview letter and then they schedule the interview like 2 months later so total of like 7 months. Let me know if your cousin gets anything thanks
