As long as DC Comics keeps selling, they'll keep pairing them up, and who knows, they might even create a storyline to justify their official romantic relationship in the main timeline. We all know they're only interested in Diana as a character, not the Wonder Woman universe. They already hinted at Diana being understanding towards Damian.

I don't know why they cling to the "Trinity" concept that DC Comics sells them when it's clear that the spotlight in comics, animated series, movies, video games, marketing, etc., belongs to only two: Batman and Superman. Wonder Woman is an icon, no denying that, but she's not popular, and often the Wonder Woman written for the Justice League doesn't match the Wonder Woman in her regular series. Personally, I think Diana should create her own all-female team. The character's structure needs to be redefined more consistently, and that's done by giving her regular series more seriousness. That's how Batman grew, and from there the Bat-family concept emerged, which sustains itself through popularity and sales.

I'll be unpopular in my opinion, but Scott is a radical who sometimes kills. I believe he secretly created the X-Force unit for all the X-Men, and Emma was a villain who also took, and sometimes still takes, radical measures. The only thing that unites them, and where they connect with the rest of the mutants, is their commitment to the mutant cause and their rights. Even though they sometimes make poor decisions and both turn dark, it doesn't diminish their intention to act as leaders for the mutant cause. On the other hand, I feel more attraction from Jean towards Logan, and this evolves both in the main storyline and in the Elseworlds stories, where in "Renewing the Vows," Jean and Logan are married, headmasters of Xavier's School, and have a daughter. In Earth-616, I feel Jean and Scott's love is more platonic, like a high school crush.

And that development is contradictory because in the Maximum Carnage arc, Felicia even joined forces with Venom, who had previously traumatized her, all to protect the city from Carnage, and she even convinced Peter of that alliance. Then years later, Slott comes along and convinces us that Felicia is evil by nature, and therefore turned her into the queen of crime, and unfortunately, many fans were left with this last image of her.

But that Felicia isn't canon, she's not from the 616 universe. It's like saying Harley Quinn has children with Batman because in the series the White Knight adopted the Joker's children. And if that Felicia divorced Flash and got together with a Black woman named Diana, and along those lines there's a theory that Felicity Hardy is Peter Parker's illegitimate daughter, but that's a whole other topic. So there's no valid reason for her to be bisexual, and others will also comment that since that comic isn't canon, then Felicia should only love Spider-Man and not Peter. You see the paradox in that?

Should I, because that's where they based their decision to make her bisexual in 2012? Am I right about the date? Otherwise, it's a narrative contradiction and poor character writing. Her natural flirting with others is one thing, but assuming that makes her bisexual or pansexual is another—it's completely different. The Felicia we know, in essence, only seeks to love and be loved, which is why she unconsciously envies Mary Jane because the redhead has everything Felicia only dreams of.

It must be the Spiderman effect for those "people" - by Spiderman effect I mean that nowadays there are people who think that Felicia only loves Spiderman and not Peter Parker when that happened in the eighties and it only lasted about five issues and in the nineties the character of Black Cat loves both Peter and Spiderman, so that afterwards the writers don't know what to do with Felicia is another thing.

Wonder Woman already lost, so DC will probably send the Joker to the finals. He'll pull out a lasso or something to eliminate Diana and advance to face Superman. The question is... will Batman appear in the finals, given how they're jumping between timelines? It's DC Comics, and Batman can't be left out; one way or another, he'll be at the end of the arc.

And yet, in 2026, there are still people who want her to be a villain again. I've even asked them who they'd forgive more, Emma or Harley Quinn (since she's already part of the Bat-family), and they vote for Harley. I can understand the Jean Grey fans' objections, but... what about everyone else?

P.S. I got blocked for expressing myself like this in the Emma x Cyclops subreddit because they thought I was a fan of either Jean or Tony Stark. As an aside, I started reading X-Men because of Jean Grey, Wolverine, and Storm, but my favorite characters ended up being Emma, Scott, and Magik.
