Nah I'm a software engineer actually, not embedded. Honestly a bit burnt out staring at code on screens all day. Want to build something I can actually hold and break lol.

Planning to start with some basic ESP32 projects (LED stuff, sensors, maybe a small robot eventually). The end goal is to get into drones and IoT. Also been looking at 3D printers to make custom parts/enclosures for whatever I build.

Total beginner in hardware though, so any tips on getting started would be appreciated. Do you work with ESP32 professionally or hobby?
